Marie Theresa Boswell, age 85, formerly of 1322 N. 12th St., Manitowoc, died
Saturday morning, July 25, 1998, at Harmony Home, Cappaert Road, Manitowoc. A
Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 1998, at Holy
Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the
Rev. Mathew Simonar with burial of the cremains in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born February 18, 1913, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alois and
Theresa Fellner Radl. She attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Manitowoc
Lincoln High School. On November 23, 1935, she married Wesley L. Boswell, in
Manitowoc. He preceded her in death December 2, 1990. Marie and her husband
were members of the Billy Schultz Circus, in Manitowoc. Marie was a member of
the Lions Ladies Auxiliary and Holy Innocents Christian Women.
Survivors include a sister, Kathryn Rohrer Eggen, Manitowoc; nieces, Mary Kay
Schwartzstein, Branchburg, N.J., Candy Rohrer, Homer, Alaska, Dr. Kathleen
VanValkenburg, Garden City, N.Y.; nephews, David Rohrer, Waupun, Philip Rohrer,
Two Rivers, Jeffrey Rohrer, Kewaskum, Jerome Radl, Manitowoc, John Radl, Utah,
one brother-in-law, John Boswell, Madison, Wis.; one sister-in-law, Caroline
Ewald, Marinette-Menominee. Also surviving are many grand-nieces and grand-
nephews, their relatives and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 10:30 a.m.
until the time of services at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice, or the donor's choice.
