Mr. Anderson died unexpectedly at his home in Long Beach, California on Thursday, April 1, 1971. He was 54 years of age.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Dr. L.R. and Mable Blair Anderson of Gainesboro.
He was an electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vyda Anderson; a daughter, Mrs. Gayle Canfield of Hermitage; two brothers, Dr. W.T. Anderson of Salyersville, KY and Blair Anderson of McMinnville.
Serving as active pallbearers were David Anderson, Tom Baugh Anderson, Stanley Anderson, J.C. Anderson, Leo Anderson, Larry Miller and Roy Smith.
Sutton and Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
