Mrs. Helene Stimbert Dies: Final Services Set for Wednesday.

Final services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon for Mrs Helen Stimbert, 82, a Nebraska resident since 1875 who died at 6:20 o'clock Sunday evening at her home, 177 east Sixth street.
The services will be held at the Congregational Church, two miles south of Inland, conducted by the Rev. Edmund Grieb of Fairfiled. Burial will be in church cemetery. The body was at the family home last night. Livingstons will direct the funeral.
Mrs. Stimbert was born July 5, 1850 at Neuengland, Germany, and came to America in 1864, first settling near in New York state. On September 6, 1866, the family moved to Illinois, and came on the Hastings September 2, 1875. Mrs Stimbert moved to the farm near Glenvil in 1878 and resided there until 1885 when she went to Oberlin, Kas. [with her husband Daniel] She returned to the farm near Inland in 1907 and moved to Hastings in 1919.
Surviving are the children -- Miss Mary Stimbert of Hastings, John Stimbert of Oberlin, Kas., and Mrs [Bertha] Frank Fitzke of Glenvil. Mrs. Frank [ Marie] Truesdell of Richmond Va., daughter of Frank Fitzke who made her home with them since infancy.
Also surviving are seven grand-children and seven great-grandchildren, one sister and three brothers. The sister is Mrs. Thomas Flesner of Doniphan and the brothers are L. F. Heye and August Heye of Glenvil and Dick Heye of Hastings.

Mrs. Helene Stimbert, 82, who first came to Hastings in 1875, died Sunday evening at her home, 117 east Sixth.
Born July 5, 1859, at Neuengland, Germany, she came to the US then she came to Hastings. She moved near Glenvil in 1878 and from 1885 to 1907 resided in Kansas. She lived near Inland from 1907 to 1919, when she returned to Hastings.
She is survived by a son, John of Oberlin, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Fitzke of Glenvil, and Mary at home; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Flesner of Doniphan, and three brothers, L H Heye and Auguest Heye, both of Glenvil, and Dick Heye of Hastings. Mrs. Frank Truesdell of Richmond, VA, daughter of Frank Fitzke, was reared by Mrs. Stimbert from infancy.
Funeral services will be held at the Congregational Church two miles south of Inland Wednesday afternoon, beginning at 2 o'clock. Prayer services will be held at the home preceding the funeral. The Rev. Edmund Greib of Fairfield will officiate. Burial will be at the church cemetery. The body is at the family home.
