Carrie Emma Kesselring was born Jan. 14, 1879, in Dublin Mills, Pa., died Sept. 27, 1932, at her home in Parksville, Mo., at the age of 54 years, 8 months, 13 days. In 1895 she came with her family to Kansas. On April 14, 1896, she was united in marriage to Seth C. Stoffer, of Morrill, Kans. To this union 3 children were born, Edna V. Curtis, of Wichita, Glenn Stoffer, of Morrill, Dorothy Stoffer, of Parksville, Mo. She leaves 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother, a host of friends to mourn her loss. Mr. Stoffer died Jan 2, 1917. Dec. 3, 1924, she was united in marriage to C.J. Turner. Early in life she became a Christian, since moving to Kansas City she has been a very devoted, active Christian. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 at the Baptist Church in Morrill, with Rev. D.B. Bulkley, superintendent of City Union Mission at Kansas City, Mo., officiating. Burial was made in the Morrill Cemetery.
