In Memory of
Mr. EBENEZER ROBINSON
Who from his youth was a friend to
religion and the houfe of God, plain
of manners and benevolent of heart
averfe to contention, kind to the poor,
compaffionate to the diftreft and
upright in his dealings. While he
lived he was ufeful and refpected,
and by liberal legacies for facred
and civil ufes, efpecially for the ben
efit of children his name is perp
etuated with honour on earth, from
which in hope of the chriftian fal
vation he departed in peace.
The 10th day of October AD 1789
in the 88th Year of his Age.
On the day Ebenezer died he was 87 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of his Age) 88, indicating he was born ON OR AFTER Oct. 11, 1701. He was bapt. of record Sept. 27, 1702.
