Betty R. Baker, 75, of Athens, Texas, passed away August 8, 2012 in a Tyler, Texas hospital.

Mrs. Baker was born July 29, 1937 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Baker; sons, Chuck Baker and Steve Baker; and a daughter, Sandy Kelley.

Survivors include her daughters, Earnestine Baker of Athens, TX, Debbie Stanley of Texarkana, AR, Ramona Boyce of Athens, TX, Tracy Boyce of Athens, TX, Penny Baker of Athens, TX, Betty Young of Texarkana, AR, and Lindy Curry of Jenkins, OK; sons, Gary Lee Baker of Murchison, TX, Gary Santall Baker of Tyler, TX, Larry Baker of Texarkana, AR, Frank Baker of Tyler , TX and Harry Kelly, Jr. of Texarkana, AR; sisters, Brenda Alfred of Ada, OK, Katheryn Walker of Gainesville, TX and Loretta Cooper of Canton, TX; 84 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Burial: East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
