Albert Paegert

Albert Louis Paegert, 70, of Smithton R.D, died Sunday morning at his home. He was born in Smithton, Nov 27, 1888, a son of the late August and Henrietta Heitschmidt Paegert and had lived in the area all of his life. He was a retired miner and a member of the Barren Run E. U. B. Church, Post 790 pro-American Legion of Smithton and UMWA.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Bessie Paegert, a stepson, Jacob Tarr of Barberton, Ohio, five grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs Olga Hough of West Newton, and Mrs Amanda Matthewson of Baird Ford.

The body is at the Barthels funeral Home at Smithton, where the funeral serice will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Barren Run E.U.B. Church, with the Rev. Ralph Brownfield officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at graveside by the Smithton Post American Legion.
