MRS. FLORENCE ELLIOTT
DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Florence Elliott, 79, of Riverside, Calif., and a former resident of Moulton, died in a hospital there September 4th. The daughter of David and Alta Rachford Probasco, she was
born in Appanoose county, January 14, 1879. She left Moulton many years ago and went to Ottumwa where she lived for 20 years before moving to California five years ago. She was a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans.

Surviving are two sons, Bert Elliott, of San Franscisco and Hoyt Elliott, of Riverside, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Daisy Hurd,
of Ottumwa; Mrs Maxine Hughes of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Helen McGlaughlin and Mrs. Lydia Bogle, both of Riverside; six brothers, Fred Probasco, of Denver, Colo.; Noah Probasco and Roy Probasco,
both of Tucson, Ariz.; Lloyd Probasco, of Bloomfield; Alex and John Probasco, both of Chariton; and two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Guinn, of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Verna Anthony, of Long
View, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1939, a daughter, Rosa, and an infant son. She also leaves to mourn her passing 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Johnson Funeral Home in Ottumwa with burial being made in Hardin cemetery north of Moulton.
