Daily Democrat, Clinton MO, Jan 16 2007 - Jessie M. Freeman, 77, Windsor, died Friday, January 12, 2007, at the Windsor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Windsor. She was born May 16, 1929, in LaMonte, the daughter of Glover Charles Ward and Dora Sophia (Walburn) Ward. On August 10, 1946, in Sedalia, she married Ralph Joseph Freeman, who died January 6, 2000. She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Windsor International Shoe Factory for many years. She was a faithful member and Sunday School teacher of Calvary Baptist Church, Windsor. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Handke, Harrisonville, and Juanita Willis, Archie; four nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by a son Jimmie Freeman; a brother Art Ward; a sister Lucy Owens; a grandson Kelly Scott Freeman; and a niece Shari Lynn Carman. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 17, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.
