Walden - Seth William Eveleth, 71, of Rt. 52, Walden, died Sunday at the Hamilton Avenue Hospital, Monticello, after a long illness.

Born in Greenville, N.J., Dec. 14, 1895, he was the son of William and Nellie J. Burham Eveleth. He married Nina Doolittle 54 years ago.

A resident of Walden for 25 years, he was a foreman for the Orange County Highway Department for 31 years, retiring in 1965.

Surviving are his widow; three sons, Leon B. of Hopewell Junction, William N. of Godeffroy, and Norman A. of Voorheesville; one brother, Donald McIntyre of Swan Lake; one sister, Mrs. Lydia Keden of Ulsterville; and seven grandchildren.

The Rev. Douglas A. Tynan of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Poughkeepsie will conduct services. Burial will be in Sylvan Cemetery, Wurtsboro.
