Mrs. Paul Fasnacht Stricken Last Night At Madison Lake
Mrs. Paul Fasnacht, 85 years old, resident of this county for 70 years died last night in a local hospital after an illness of two days. Her death was caused by pneumonia. Funeral services will be held in All Saints Catholic church at Madison Lake. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Fasnacht was born September 4, 1846 in Bohemia and came to this country when she was 12 years old. She was married to Paul Fasnacht and lived on a farm near Madison Lake about 52 years before moving to the village to live with a son, Paul. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Jenks of Ellendale, MN and four sons, Frank, John, Henry and Paul, all of Madison Lake. Her husband died 49 years ago and one daughter passed away one year ago yesterday. Two other daughters and a son also preceded her in death. Mankato Free Press, 3/3/1932 Contributed by M.L. Ihrke
