Charles "Chuck" Lee Reedy, 76, Harmony Community, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.

A native of Denver, CO he was the son of the late Edward P. and Thelma Vanderpool Reedy. Mr. Reedy was a member of Crossroads Christian Church. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. He was proud to serve his country as a Marine. After he served his country, Mr. Reedy continued to serve his country while working for Lockheed Missile and Space Co. as a production manager. He retired after 34 years of service. Chuck was a member of the Marine Corp League, Tri-Cities Detachment 969. He was Past Commandant of the Department of Tennessee Marine Corps League. He was honored as Marine of the Year for distinguished service in 2005. Chuck was a volunteer at the VA at Mountain Home. He enjoyed carpentry work and singing with the Appalachian Express Barber Shop Chorus. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by half sister, Betty Jane Reedy, half brothers, Forrest Reedy and Glen Reedy.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Jacqueline Walls Reedy, Harmony Community; a daughter, Linda Reedy, Pioneer, CA; a son, Thomas C. Reedy, Lower Lake, CA; a step-son, Dana D. Ferrell, Melbourne Village, FL; a sister, Catherine Grimm, Independence, MO; a brother, Philip E. Reedy, Elkhorn, NE; a half sister, Martha Sebastian, Glenwood, Springs, CO, five grandchildren, Stephen Davis, James Davis, Jennifer Wilbur, Kristina Young, and Amanda Ferrell; five great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Lola Walls, Harmony Community. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Celebration of Life service for Charles "Chuck" Lee Reedy will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 9, 2012 in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Mr. Clint Andrews, Minister officiating. The family will greet friends in the funeral home chapel from 11:00 AM till the service hour. A Military Committal and Interment service will be held at 2:00 PM at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be from Lima Co. 3rd Bn. 24th Marines. Honorary pallbearers will be Detachment 969 Marine Corps League members.
