RED BAY, Ala. - Margie Sue Johnson, 60, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at the ECM Hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1945, in Red Bay, Ala., to Vester Lee and Virdie Barnes Alexander. She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Leonard McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Juatrina Self and husband, Michael, of Red Bay, and Drenda Holland and husband, Kenny, of Vina, Ala.; two sons, Larry Johnson and wife, Lee, of Pontotoc and Chris Johnson of Red Bay; two grandchildren, Justin Roberts of Vina, Ala., and Danielle Self of Red Bay; three stepgrandchildren, Dustin Wilson, Miranda Wilson and Tyler Wilson, all of Pontotoc; two uncles, Paul Barnes of Branson, Mo., and David Barnes of Kenosha, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Carl Edward Alexander; and a sister, Virginia Lee Alexander.
Pallbearers will be Larry Johnson, Michael Self, Kenny Holland, Justin Roberts, Donald Kuykendall and Dewayne Palmer.
