Lysle E. Bassett 66 of 10 Fennell St., Skaneateles, died yesterday morning (Nov. 1, 1959) at the Veterans Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Albany, he lived in Skaneateles 13 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Mae Bassett, three daughters, Misses Delores and Marlene Bassett and Mrs. Virginia Gleason; three sons Richard, Francis and Lysle Bassett Jr. and four grandchildren. Services at 11 am tomorrow at the Carter Funeral Home. The Rev. William Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Lysle Erwin Bassett of Herkimer, NY and Syracuse, NY. In 1943 he was working at the Easy Washing Machine Co. in Syracuse, NY.

Marlene Bassett daughter of Lysle Bassett said "Dads REAL name was Lysle Erwin Bassett, born Oct 4, 1893 in (according to his service registration) Charleston N, Y. The "M" that they mistakenly put on there is moms middle initial."

His wife Edith Bassett is buried in
Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
