Mrs. Gabrenya, 49, Dies At Hospital

Husband of the Deceased, Matt Gabrenya, Was Fatally Injured in Mine Last Week
Mrs. Adeline Gabrenya, aged 49 years, whose husband, Matt Gabrenya, was fatally injured in the Griffith Mine in Lower Yoder Township last Thursday, died last evening at the Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since July 5. Mrs Gabrenya lapsed into unconsciousness a short time before her husband was killed. His funeral took place on Saturday afternoon from the Gabrenya home, 133 M Street, Morrellville, with interment in Grandview Cemetery. Funeral services for Mrs. Gabrenya will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Gabrenya residence, in charge of the Rev. W. I. Good, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Benshoff's Cemetery.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Adeline Craig, was born in Cambria City in the Summer of 1876, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Craig, who perished in the Johnstown Flood of May, 1889, along with a son and a daughter, William and Anna Craig. Adeline Craig was married twice. Her first husband was Milton Blough, a brother of M. J. Blough, of Broad Street. Mr Blough died May 3, 1915. To this unionthe following children were born: May, wife of John Gavura, 452 Edith Avenue; Harry Blough, 368 Corinne Street; Clarence Blough, Cleveland, Ohio; Edna, wife of John Golby, 137 Cook Street; Robert, Berndetta, Lester and Pearl Blough, all at home and the following, who have been dead for some time: John, Marie, Daniel, Luella, Leora, and Milton.

Several years ago Mrs. Blough married Matt Gabrenya. A son, Arthur, was born to this union, but he died in infancy. Mrs Gabrenya made her home in Cambria City for a number of years, removing to Morrellville soon after her second marriage. Mrs. Gabrenya was a sister of Daniel Craig, of Brownstown Borough, and was a half sister of John Plunk, of Virginia Avenue, Morrellville. The deceased was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
