Mary Anne Robinson, 73, of Maryville, Ill., passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:50 p.m. at the Alhambra Care Center in Alhambra, Ill.

Mary Anne was born on December 20, 1937, in Dyersburg, Tenn. to Harold Lee Tickle and Aleta (Childress) Tickle. She was married on April 3, 1960 to Jack W. Robinson, who survives in Maryville.

Mary Anne was a homemaker. She was a member of the Meadow Heights Baptist Church, was the past-matron of the Collinsville Eastern Star and the New Hope Eastern Star in Granite City. She was a past Worthy High-Priestess of Purity White Shrine in Collinsville and a member of the Hannah White Shrine in Highland. She was a past officer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Commandary in Granite City.

Mary Anne is survived by her husband, Jack; her daughter, Cheryl and Mike Palmer; her brother Harold and Dianne Tickle, Jr., and grandchildren, Katelyn Palmer and Rachael Palmer, as well as nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mary Anne in death were her parents and her daughters, Ruth Ann Robinson and Sharon Kay Robinson.

Funeral services for Mary Anne Robinson were held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, who is in charge of all arrangements. Joe Smith officiated.

There was a visitation held Saturday before the services, also at Neal Funeral Home.

Interment was at Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
