Custer L. Fleegal of 607 Twentieth Avenue, Altoona, a native of Coalmont and former resident of Saxton, died on Thursday, Feb. 1, 1962 at 2:05 p.m. at the Altoona Hospital. He fell at his residence on Jan. 4 and had been hospitalized since that time.

He was born Feb. 13, 1885, at Coalmont, a son of Levi and Sarah M. (Hughes) Fleegal. He was married to Esther L. Jones who is surviving.

In addition to his wife he is survived by the following children: Legora Fleegal of Lewistown, Ralph Fleegal of Hollidaysburg, Robert Fleegal of Harrisburg, William Fleegal of Toledo, Ohio, Harold Fleegal of Hollidaysburg, and Paul and Donald Fleegal and Mrs. Helen Green, all of Huntingdon. There are 21 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, John and Samuel Fleegal of Altoona and two sisters, Mrs. Verna Cornelius of Saxton and Mrs. Florence Parks of Huntingdon.

He was of the Church of God faith. Mr. Fleegal was a coal miner for a number of years and retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad as an electrician.

Funeral services ... Sunday ... from the Masood funeral chapel. The Rev. Paul Kocher will officiate. Interment in Fockler Cemetery.
