Mrs. Emig was born December 23, 1895 in Lafayette township, the daughter of the late, Eliza and Daniel Aronhalt. The early part of her life was spent on a farm near Morgan Run. For the past 20 years she had lived in Coshocton.
On March 20, 1918, she married Fred Emig. her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 1919. She is survived by a son , William Russell; two brothers, Russel D. Aronhalt of the home and Harold Aronalt of Coshocton Route 1, five nieces and three nephews.
For the past 16 years, Mrs. Emig had been a member of St. John's Evangelical church. Prior to that she had been a member of Mt. Zion M. E. church. She had been employed by Beach Leather Co. for 15 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Evangelical church, in charge of the Rev. C.A. Wahl. Short services will also be held at the home. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
