Mahnita EmeLee Boyden-Wofford, 74, of San Marcos died May 24. She was born in Westbrook, Minn, and was an office manager for Astleford Construction Inc. She was a member of the Community Service Commission and was a Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year.

Survivors include her husband, Winfred Wofford; daughter, Debra Knight of Oklahoma City; son, John Boyden Jr. of Oceanside; stepsons, Lance Wofford and Randy Wofford of San Marcos, Craig Wofford of Escondido and Bruce Wofford of
Valley Center; sister, Nona Graves of Chickasha, Okla.; brother, H. Douglas Baldwin of Desert Hot Springs; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services 1 p.m. Saturday, Palomar Christian Church, 1915 N. Twin Oaks Valley Road, San Marcos. Inurnment San Marcos Cemetery, 1021 Mulberry Drive, San Marcos.

Donations Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido, CA 92025; or San Marcos Fireworks Committee, c/o Community Services, 3 Civic Center Drive, San Marcos, CA 92069. Arrangements Allen Bros. San Marcos Mortuary.
