Wayne was a US Army Veteran of WWII who Served with the 94th Infantry Division in Europe.

Wayne Weber, age 74, at home, February 14, 2000. He has left us for his Heavenly Home there to once again see his parents, George and Dulcie Weber, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Wayne served in the U.S. Army WW II in which he received numerous medals, including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star of which he was forever proud. Member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 144. Life member of DAV, M.O.P.H., VFW and Infantry Division of 9/4. Retired from U.S. Postal Service and PERS Liquor Control. Survived by wife, Anna Lee; children, Leslie Weber, Annelle (Dave) McClosky, Tom (Patricia) Headley, Paul Headley and Wayne G. (Donna) Weber; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eva Weber; many other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at GRAUMLICH & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday 12noon. Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg officiating. Interment at a later date. Family suggests those who wish may contribute in memory to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 80 E. Markison Ave., Columbus, Oh. 43207. Military Service Honors by American Legion Southway Post 144.
