CURWENSVTLLE - Services for Mrs. Martha H. Abrino, 77, of Chestnut Ridge, R.D. 1, Curwensville, who died at the Clearfield Hospital Friday, July 8, 1994, were held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home in Curwensville today at 11 a.m., with the Rev. William C. Mullins officiating.

Interment followed at the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville Public Library, 601 Beech St., Curwensville.

Born Feb. 19, 1917, in Sylvan Grove, she was a daughter of the late Ira S. and Mary Louise "Dove" (Narehood) Hoover.

Mrs. Abrino was formerly employed at the McGregor Factory and at the Curwensville Hosiery Mill. After the death of her husband, Eugene E. Abrino, hi 1976, she cared for individuals in their homes until her retirement in 1987. In addition, she was a homemaker, a member of the County Extension, where she served as 4-H leader, and was a member of the Susquehanna Grange No. 1145.

She is survived by her son Allen E. Abrino of Butler; grandchildren, Eugene, David, Scott, and Allison; great-grandson, Christopher; three sisters, Ruth Kephart of East Aurora, N.Y., Dorcas Watts of Kylertown, and Bernice Williams ofBurnside.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Elmer E. Abrino; a brother, James Hoover; and sisters, Helen Blackburn, Catherine Cleveland, and Mary Record.
