Although Mrs. McCue had been in failing health a long time, her death was unexpected. She died suddenly while sitting in a chair.
She was born in Suffield, but came to this village when young, where she had ever since made her home. She was an attendant of St. Patrick's Church as long as her health permitted. Her husband died more than 20 years ago.
Mrs. McCue leaves six children, Misses Mary and Elizabeth McCue and Mrs. Henry Johnson, the latter of Springfield, and James, Arthur and Francis P. McCue. The funeral probably will take place in St. Patrick's Church Monday morning, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery." (Note mistake: Mrs Henry Johnson is actually Mrs. Henry Gendron, my grandmother)
