Mrs. Bock 101 passed away Wednesday,October 5,2011 at Brian's House following a brief illness. She was born in Mt.Forest Township on November 27,1909 to the late Ambrose & Caroline(Vanderpool) Wilson. She married Howard Bock Sr. May 19,1928 & they owned the Bock General Store in Estey for many years. He preceded her in death on May 29,1987. She enjoyed makeing quilts for all her family & with the Hope Lutheran Ladies aide. She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church for 71 yrs. Mt.Forest Senior Citizens & the Rhodes Ladies Card Club.
She is survived by her children Dotty Ingle, Thomas Bock,(Grace MacDonald),Ken (Alice) Bock,Terry (Betty) Bock; 22 grand children,42 great grandchildren,, 25 great great grandchildren, & 5 great great great grandchildren; She was predeceased by her husband Howard Sr., 2 sons Howard Jr. & Robert Bock, a son in law Cliff Ingle, 2 daughter in laws Doris & Agnes Bock, 3 grandchildren Greg Bock,Mary Ann Bock &Tim Woodruff, 2 great great grandchildren Aden Bock & Jack Schultz; 5 brothers Ray,George,John,Percy & Tony; 4 sisters Eva,Dora,Lottie & Beatrice.
Funeral services will be held Monday October 10,2011 from the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home with pastor Reed Schroer presiding with burial in Mt Forest Twp. Cemetary.
