Milgrum R. Adams

Milgrum Rosalie Adams, 91, of Pennsboro died June 1, 2005, at Carehaven of Pleasants, Belmont.

She was born Feb. 5, 1914, at Bean Ridge, near Smithville, W.Va., the daughter of the late Melvin Guy and Elizabeth Wyer Drake.

Milgrum worked for Myles Manufacturing, Pennsboro and was a member of Hursher's Run United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Adams is survived by three sons, Jack L. Adams of Covington, La., Grayden Lambert of Pennsboro and Leahroy Lambert of Glendale; two daughters, Helen Wells of Novelty, Ohio, and Connie Jean Garner of St. Marys; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Lambert; second husband, Edward L. Adams; one son, Edward Cody Adams; one daughter, Rosalie Lambert; three brothers, Harper Drake, James Drake and Melvin G. Drake Jr.; one sister, Rhoda Wade; and one grandson, Buddy Garner.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville. Burial will follow in the Hardman Chapel Cemetery, Smithville. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
