Ellanora C. (Ullsperger) Kirtley, 94, of Omaha (formerly Lincoln) died Thursday, August 2nd in Omaha. Ellanora was born on September 19, 1917 in Nebraska City, NE to Frank & Jennie (Lock) Ullsperger. She was a graduate of Nebraska City High School. Retired telephone operator at Lincoln Regional Center. Member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Lincoln & St. James Catholic Church in Omaha and was a Toastmistress.
Ellanora is survived by her daughter Jennie Shiley and grandson Richard Shiley of Omaha; sister Margaret Heng of Lincoln and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Kirtley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday (8/7/12) at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1704 Lake St., Lincoln, with Father John Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. A Rosary service will be prior to the Mass at 9:30 am Tuesday the church.
Memorials are suggested to Ellanora's family for future designation.
