Death of Thomas Doles
Thomas Doles, aged 78 years, died Friday of last week at his home near Ray, and was buried Saturday in the Doles cemetery.
Deceased was a member of the Disciple church and a highly respected citizen.
Thos. Doles died Friday morning after a lingering illness and was buried Saturday at Doles cemetery. Rev. Jackson Graves preached the funeral sermon. Frank Anderson undertaker. He was 78 years old and married twice, his second wife being Nancy Lytle, who died several years ago. He leaves several children and a host of friends to mourn his death. His oldest son, Sam, lives in the west, Lizzie Graves lives near Ratcliffsburg, Minerva Dozer and Simon Doles, near his residence, Alice Doles at
Athens, Martha and Joseph at home. He was a man well liked and was strictly honest. He had been a member of the Disciple church for many years.
