BLOOMER –Richard J. Pecha, 82, Bloomer resident, died Monday, Jan. 29, 1990, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.
He was born April 3, 1907, in the Bloomer Township to Louise (Reischel) and Simon Pecha.
Richard married Anna Zwiefelhofer on May 2, 1929, at St. John the Baptist Church, cooks Valley. He had been a dairy farmer all of his life.
Survivors include , his wife; two sons, Jerry and Daniel, both of Bloomer; three daughters, Valeria (Duane) Gunderson of Eau Claire, Patricia Hartman of Bloomer and Darlene (David) Weeks of Spring Valley; three sisters, Leona (Jon) Zwiefelhofer and Mary (Fred) Jenneman, both of Bloomer, and Lorraine (Robert Forril of Escondido, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Herbert, Leonard, Bill and Walter; one sister, Emily Steinmetz; and one grandson, David Weeks.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Bloomer. Interment will be in South Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (today) at Driscoll Funeral Home, Bloomer, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
