Alvina Zwiefelhofer, 92, of Bloomer, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at the MapleWood in Bloomer.
She was born Sept. 29, 1909, in Cooks Valley, the daughter of John and Christina (Borofka) Pecha.
Alvina married John B. Zwiefelhofer on Feb. 27, 1928, at St. John's Catholic Church, Cooks Valley. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by everyone.
She is survived by five sons, David (Maxine) of Chippewa Falls, Lawrence (Eileen) of Columbus, Mont., Richard (Margaret) of Bloomer, Clifford (Cecilia) of Chippewa Falls and Thomas (Audrey) of Caledonia, Ill.; seven daughters, Cecilia (Ron) Michaelis of Bloomer, Dorothy (Gordon) Baier of Bloomer, Janet (Alfred) Sikora of Bloomer, Juanita (Allen) Grill of Bloomer, Bonnie (Lyle) Miller of Eau Claire, Karen Zwiefelhofer of Bloomer and Pat (Donald) Baker of Bloomer; one daughter-in-law, Suzanne Zwiefelhofer of Bloomer; 52 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Bresina of Chippewa Falls; and one brother, Archie Pecha of Bloomer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; one son, Eugene; twin girls in infancy; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; four brothers, Gib, Frank, Joe and Roy Pecha; and one sister, Freida Swartz.
