Funeral services for Evelyn Inez Dixon, 95, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, OK, with Reverend Cardell Coppin officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Evelyn was born September 11, 1916 at Lamar, Arkansas the daughter of Samuel and Roxie Jane (Chism) Easley and died Friday, August 3, 2012 at her home in Muskogee. Evelyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed bluegrass festivals and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Charles Lee Dixon of Muskogee; grandchildren, Teresa Heimbach and husband, Dave, of Broken Arrow, Scott Dixon and wife, Galeene, of Okmulgee, David Dixon of Tulsa, Jamie Pebworth and husband, Steve, of Edmond, Tex Dixon and wife, Jenny, of Fort Gibson; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Truman Easley of CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin "Sandy"; son, Kenneth; one brother, Sammy Easley; and three sisters, Magdalene Frye, Roxy Tate, and Burthy White.
