Linda Jo (nee, Varesi) Way, age 50, of New Glarus, Wis., passed away on Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at Meriter Park Hospital in Madison. The former Linda Jo Varesi was born Feb. 3, 1953, in Madison, to Joseph and Adele (Royston) Varesi. She was married to Donald L. Way Jr. on Jan. 11, 1980, in Orlando, Fla. She was employed at WPS for 15 years. She also worked at Farm and Fleet. Survivors include her husband, Don; her son, Lance (Kelly) Way of New Glarus; her daughter, April (Denny) Frohmader of Madison; six grandchildren, Crystal, Little Denny, Cody, Austin, Dylan and Dalton; her mother, Adele Varesi of Las Vegas, Nev.; five sisters, Rosie (Jim) Devlin of Las Vegas, Patty (Francis) Schulenberg of Madison, JoAnn (Richard) Storkson of Madison, Debbie (Dale) Krause of Janesville, and Stacy (Kevin) Ball of Madison; two brothers, Joe (Doreen) Varesi of Belvidere, Ill., and Steve (Heidi) Varesi of Oregon; her mother and father-in-law, Donald (Frances) Way Sr. of Mount Vernon; two sisters-in-law, Kim Way of Madison, and Kelly (Scott) Onsager of New Glarus; and a brother-in-law, Doug (Mary) Way of New Glarus. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Varesi; her nephew, Dustin Varesi; and her dog, Tippy. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at MOUNT VERNON ZWINGLI UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST with the Rev. Glenn Danz officiating.
