Obituary: Bonnie B. Spellman, age 70, of 7812 Dairy Ridge Road, Verona, passed away at her home on Monday, April 24, 1995, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 7, 1924, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Hulette and Della (Mitchell) Way. Bonnie was a longtime employee of the Dane County Home, and a member of the St. Andrew's Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband, William Jr., of Verona; her mother, Della Way of Mt. Horeb; her children Sandra (Reynold) Anderson of Mt. Horeb, William III (Jackie) of Waukesha, Patricia McCluskey of Belleville, Michael (Mary Ellen) of Madison, and Tracy Spellman of Portage; 22 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Way of Mt. Horeb, Pete Way and Roger Way, both of Verona; four sisters, Betty Andrews of Madison, Velma Lang of Genessee, Jill Schiffman of Mt. Horeb, and Barbara Northrop of Verona.
