SENATOBIA - The graveside service for Virdie Odell Melton Boyd, 98, was Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery. Boyd was the widow of Ellis Arnold Boyd. She leaves daughters, Winnie Faye Jones of Senatobia, Mary Elizabeth Shackelford of Senatobia; sisters, Willard Harmon of New Albany, Annie Vee Wages Greer of Baldwyn; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Edwin Boyd; five sisters and two brothers.
