David Dale Stout, 52, of Terre Haute, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at Union Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1957, in Terre Haute, to Robert E. Stout and Patricia Brownson Stout Knauer. David was a former Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchisee. Survivors include his mother, Patricia Knauer of Terre Haute; son, Ryan Stout of Terre Haute, daughter, Leah Stout of Terre Haute; stepbrothers, James A. Knauer and his wife Jill of Indianapolis, William E. Knauer and his wife Lisa of Terre Haute, John B. Knauer of Indianapolis, David P. Knauer of Terre Haute, Michael E. Knauer and his wife Bobbie of Ellettsville; and a half
brother, Richard T. Knauer and his wife Maria of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, John Stout and Kevin Stout. David was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church and Maryland Community Church.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, in Roselawn Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Monty Barker officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. There is no visitation.
