Reta Faye Hollingsworth, age 82, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away Saturday, August 10, 2002 at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Red Oak after an extended illness.
Reta was born October 14, 1919 in Quincy, Missouri the daughter of Lester and Grace (Wrinkle) Hollingsworth.
The family moved to the southwest Iowa area in the 1920's where Reta has spent her entire life.
Reta started working at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1946. She worked at the phone company until she retired in the 1980's. Reta was a member of the First Christian Church and the Telephone Pioneers.
Survivors include her sister: Fern Hollingsworth of Red Oak, Iowa and many cousins; and a special friend: Kathryn Strachan of Red Oak, Iowa.
