SOAP LAKE GIRL DIES SUDDENLY
Dorothy Dunlap, 13, of Soap Lake, died Monday in Ephrata after a two-day illness. Graveside services were held Thursday morning at the Ephrata Cemetery with the Rev. Laird Glasscock officiating. Plotts Funeral Home was in charge of the burial.
Dorothy was born October 24, 1933 in The Dalles, Oregon and had been living at Soap Lake for the past three years.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. Joseph A. Dunlap and Step-Mother Mrs. Mary Dunlap at the home, one brother, John Dunlap of Clackamas, Oregon, one step-sister and one step-brother at the home, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Eakin, Clackamas, Oregon, John Dunlap of The Dalles, Oregon and Mary Dunlap of Bakersfield, California.

*Dorothy Was Very Tall, Standing Nearly Six Foot at Twelve Years of Age.
*Dorothy Contracted Diphtheria at Summer Camp and Died Shortly Thereafter.
