KIT GUEST, EARLY DAY SETTLER, DEAD

William Christopher Guest, aged 64, died this morning at 6:40 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harold P. Carter, 318 West Twelfth Street, following a long period of poor health.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the First Methodist Church, Rev. A. N. Averyl officiating minister.
Deceased, familiarly known to his many friends as Kit Guest, was one of the pioneers of Ada and a veteran peace officer, serving as policeman, constable and other capacities at various times.
He is survived by one son, W. C. Guest, Jr., of Oklahoma City, two daughters, Mrs. Daniel L. Little (Clio), San Angelo, Texas, and Mrs. H. P. Carter (Cleo), of Ada, two sisters, Mra. A. C. Pigg, Ada, and Sarah Peck, Center, and other relatives..
