Margaret Bower Dragoo, age 96 passed away August 3, 2012 in Kingwood, Texas.

Mrs. Dragoo was born September 22, 1915 in Call, Texas to Wilte Olin and Ruby Lowe Bower.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 3-5pm at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with a celebration of her life to take place at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church on August 6, 2012 at 10am.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

A longtime resident of Beaumont Mrs. Dragoo made lasting impressions on many lives through her service in the libraries of her churches. She was a member of Beaumont Women's Club, and The Friendship Club as well as Westgate Baptist Church.

Mrs. Dragoo was preceded in death by her parents, Wilte Olin Bower and Ruby Lowe Bower, husband, Robert E. Dragoo, Sr. brother, Jack Bower, sister, Ann Lorraine Bower Spiegel (FAG mem 93941612) and brother-in-law, Ed Godwin.

She is survived by her son, Robert E. "Corky" Dragoo, Jr. and his wife, Willie, her grandchildren, Brent A Dragoo and his wife Sheri, Holli D. Sadler and her husband, Greg, great-grandchildren, Collin Sadler, Shelby Dragoo, Kathryn Sadler and Brayden Dragoo, her sister, June Huse, brother-in-law, Rod Huse, sisters-in-law, Marian Godwin and Wanda Godwin and many who have loved her.
