Oneonta, March 18. - Nathan Bridges of Morris, one of the well known men of the county and for three terms the Assemblyman from Otsego, died yesterday at his home, aged 65 years. He was born in the town of Laurens at the settlement called Richardson Hill. He began his education in Oneonta and enlisted from here in the Third New York cavalry in 1862.

After the war he resumed his studies here in the law office of the late L. L. Bundy. He began the practice of law in Morris, but returned to form a partnership with James Stewart.
