CARLOS--Ralph E. Bales, 76, of rural Carlos, died Thursday morning at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and was a retired truck driver and livestock dealer. He attended the Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Clara; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Andrews and Mrs. Sandy Fisher, both of near Carlos; two sons, Wallace, near Carlos, and Ronald, Colorado; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Royce, Winchester, and Francis, Eaton, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home, Lynn, with Rev. Ned Wysong officiating. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday.
