Myrtie Ethel Seeds Harris was born May 2, 1914 at home in Ringgold, Montague County TX. She was married to Nolan Harris July 2, 1933 in Pampa, Texas. They had been married 50 years when Nolan passed away in Borger, Texas, October 28, 1983.

She was also preceded in death by her mother, Jewel Seeds Castleberry of Pampa, Texas, father Rob Seeds of Pampa, Texas; sister Mary Elizabeth Seeds Trenary of Pensacola, Florida; two brothers, Robert Seeds of Donaldsonville, Louisiana; and Charles A Seeds, Dallas, Texas.

Myrtie Ethel spent most of her adult life in Borger, Texas where she and Nolan owned The Harris Co. and Harris Interiors.
She was known as a very talented interior decorator in the Panhandle area of Texas for over 40 years. She enjoyed a long membership in the Collectors Club in Borger.

As a talented church pianist she often accompanied soloist as well as assisted in local Baptist church revivals in Pampa and Borger. Her and Nolans church membership was at First Baptist Church in Borger. When she moved to Amarillo in 1986 to Park Place Towers she became a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo.

In 2005 she moved to The Lodge at the Ardmore Village in Ardmore, Oklahoma. In October , 2006 she moved to the Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta, Oklahoma where she resided until her death on May 15, 2012.

Myrtie Ethel is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Webb and husband Jim; one son Robert Nolan Harris of Ashburn, Virginia; five grandchildren, Rob Webb of Nocona, Texas, Bryan Webb and wife Robin, of Denton, Texas, Damon Webb and wife Lisa, of Rowlett, Texas, Tiffany Rogers and husband Chris of Amarillo, Texas, Robert Harris and wife Jamie Lynn of Frisco, Texas, and eleven great-grandchildren, Lee Ann Wood, Christopher Webb, Calvin Webb, Caleb Webb, Felicia Webb, Callie Webb, Alexis Burns, Joelle Burns, Kathryn Burns, Alexis Lynn Harris, and Lincoln Rogers.

Graveside services and interment will be in the Ringgold Cemetery at Ringgold, Texas on Friday, May 18 at 2 pm.
