Mrs. J. M. Ritemire Dies Here Jan. 30th
Well-Known Woman Passes Away Saturday Morning; in Poor Health For Many Years
Mrs. Minnie Belle Ritemire, 65, passed away at the Lusk Hospital on Saturday morning. The deceased had been in poor health for a number of years and three weeks previously had undergone an operation in the hope that it might save her life.
She withstood the operation wonderfully well, but her vitality was too low and she gradually failed until the end came.
With her husband, James M. Ritemire, she moved to Lusk about ten years ago and has many friends here who mourn her loss.
Funeral services were held from the Peet Mortuary, which had charge of the arrangements, at 2:30 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Evans of the Baptist Church officiating.

MRS. JAMES RIGHTMIRE
Minnie Belle Moore was born in Genoa, Ill., October 22, 1871. Eleven years later she moved with her parents to Tilden, Nebr. While yet a young woman she professed faith in Jesus and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. March 4, 1896, she was united in marriage to James M. Rightmire of Tilden, Neb. To this union were born two children - one daughter, now Mrs. Archie Voorhees of Lusk, Wyo., and one son, who died in infancy. For a number of years she taught in the common schools in Nebraska. In 1914 she came with her husband to Wyoming and located on a homestead some 25 miles south of Lusk. In 1927 she came to Lusk, where she has resided until the time of her death.
Mrs. Rightmire died at 7:45 Saturday morning, January 30, 1937. She was a literary genius and wrote several poems. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Voorhees, two granddaughters, one sister, Mrs. Carrie E. Scott of Meadowgrove, Nebraska; one brother, Bert J. Moore of Burwell, Neb., and many friends.
She was a faithful wife, a devoted mother and consistent Christian. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
