CLARKS HILL - Francis J. Grolo, 82, of Clarks Hill, died at 1:00 PM Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, in his home. He was born April 4, 1921, in Green Hill, in Warren County. He married Rosemary Fidler on Aug. 25, 1946, in Tippecanoe County; she survives. Since 1952, he had worked at Stockwell Lumber as a carpenter in the woodshop. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Grolo was a member and elder of Clarks Hill Christian Church. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Linda Lucille Certain of Clarks Hill; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother, four sisters and a nephew. Service Aug. 6 in Richards-Loy & Clapper Stockwell Chapel, the Rev. Aaron Merritt officiating; internment Concord Cemetery.
