She was born Saturday, May 28, 1932 in Huntington, WV, Daughter of the late Carl W. Erwin and the late Sylvia Cochran Erwin.
Goldie worked as a Sales Person for World Book as well as being a devoted homemaker for her loving husband and children.
She was a member of Nobelton Community Church in Nobelton, Florida. Goldie was a writer of poetry and stories. She never met a stranger and loved visiting people, especially babies. She absolutely loved flowers.
Surviving are her husband, Charlie Dean Carr of Aurora; children, Richard (Shellie) Carr of Bushnell, FL, Timothy (Deborah) Carr of Bushnell, FL, Melinda (Brian) Behrens of Jacksonville, FL, Kristy (Daniel) Carr-Nicholson of Aurora, IN; Grandchild, Victoria Carr of New York, NY; Great-Grandchildren, Ella & Emily Nicholson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Services will be held at the Nobelton Community Church, Nobelton, FL in October.
Interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery of Bushnell, FL.
