He wa born June 11, 2012 in Mount Pleasant, the infant son of Joshua Ryan Ward Sr. and Melissa Marie Jordan.

Joshua is survived by his parnets of Georgetown; his maternal grandparents, Charlene and Junior Jordan of Georgetown; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Jana Ward of Georgetown; maternal great-grandparents, Kenith and Joyce Matthews of Georgetown and Louise Jordan of Georgetown; paternal great-grandparents, James and Dottie Whitehouse of North Myrtle Beach and Donald and Barbara Ward of Georgetown; a brother, Blake Howard of Georgetown; a sister, Kylah Jordan of Georgetown; five uncles, Michael (Katie) Ward, Korey Ward, Jordan Ward, Trey (Joni) Jordan and Ryan (Marianne) Jordan; and several great-aunts and great-uncles.

Joshua was predeceased by his maternal great-grandfather, Richard Jordan.

Funeral services, with the Rev. Kenny Johnson and the Rev. Themos Cribb officiating, were Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
