Dr. James E. Bills of Rochester died suddenly of apoplexy last Thursday at his home. he dropped to the floor, after breakfast and expired instantly. He was sixty-five years of age. During the war he raised a company and went as their captain. He afterwards returned to the Methodist ministry, and was for a time presiding elder of this district. He was well known locally.
