The preponderance of evidence suggests Peter Puryear m1 May A Paxton in about May 1903. After May died in March 1904 he and m2 Nellie Paxton (May's sister) in May 1907.
As of the 1910 census there were three children, listed in this order:
1. Nell P (age 9 yrs)
