Death Claimed Mrs. McClendon

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Church in Healdton for Mrs. ANNA IRENE MCCLENDON, wife of RUSSELL MCCLENDON of East Texas Ave., who died of leukemia in a Dallas hospital. Elder RICHARD BARRETT of the Ardmore Seventh Day Adventist Church officiated with special music by the choir of the Methodist Church. Burial in Mt. Olive directed by Reser Funeral Home.

Mrs. McClendon was born March 7, 1927 at McCurtain, Okla., and lived at Stigler until her marriage in May 1946 at which time she and her husband moved to Healdton. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist since 1955. A very useful person, she had been employed in various places of business including the school cafeteria, the Healdton Nursing Home, and Murphy Café.

Survivors are her husband, Russell; sons, DALE who is employed by Texas Instruments in Dallas, WOODY and RANDY of the home; daughters, LINDA and VICKY of the home; her mother, Mrs. J. L. HOLLEY of Broken Arrow, some brothers and sisters, and one grandchild.
