Henry Culpepper, Jr.
Henry Culpepper, Jr.40, died at his home, 415 Third avenue, Phenix City, at
9:40 o'clock Sunday morning after an illness of pneumonia. Surviving him are
his wife, Mrs. Bertha Culpepper, five brothers, Ernest of Jamestown, La., C. B.
of Columbus, J. W., J. E., and D. E. Culpepper all of Phenix City; three sisters,
Mrs. J. J. Shavers, Girard section of Phenix City; Mrs. Mattie Lamb, of Phenix
City and Mrs. Mattie Thornton. of Phenix City. Funeral services were held from
the home at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Elder Tommy Powell conducted
the services and interment was in Pine Grove cemetery.
The following gentlemen were the pallbearers; C. B. Culpepper, J. E. Culpepper,
J. W. Culpepper, D. E. Culpepper, J. J. Shavers and J. M. Thornton.
