A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Saunders Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregory Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Onslow Memorial Park with military honors.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a driver for the Onslow County School system. He is a graduate of Coastal Carolina Community College and a Deacon for his church.
Survivors include, his wife, Althea Taylor of the home; sons, Stedel Taylor of New Castle, Pa. and Issac Taylor of Iraq; daughters, Aver Taylor of Ambridge, Pa. and LaShada Taylor of Jacksonville; sisters, Evelyn Gains and Griffith Jones, both of Richmond, Va.; and brothers, Herbert Taylor, James Taylor, and Leslie Taylor, all of Richmond, Va.
