Jon was born June 11, 1966 in Tyler, Texas and lived in the surrounding Texarkana area most of his life.
He was a former coach for fourteen years. He was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and former member of the Texas High School Coaches Association.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce H. Norwood.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Huoff Norwood; his father and stepmother, Bill and Marianne Norwood; one son, William Patrick Norwood; one daughter, Victoria Maryetta Norwood; one stepdaughter, Scharessa Harris; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Laquita Ensminger and Angela and Scott Dorel; two grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; and a number of other relatives.
